Timber and Tyres
With
effects ranging from natural wooden planks with an exposed grain
detail to urban tyre treads, ArmourFX® cast panels are designed for
decorative wall cladding – ideal for interior theming and branding.
Available in four standard colours and either textured or a smooth finish, cast panels can also be custom colour and finish matched. The panels are tough and durable, cast from a polymer modified gypsum mix with post-consumer recycled material. When ready, the panels are delivered direct from a single source workshop in custom-made packaging to ensure safe arrival on site. The panels are then simply applied directly to the wall using high-grade gypsum adhesive, and can be cut on-site as required.
Custom designs - such as 'tyre-tread' panels (pictured below), can be created for a particular client or project. Visit www.armourfx.com for more information.

ArmourFX 'timber' effect panels
These are the new adverts running in July issues of 'Retail Focus', 'Hospitality Interiors' and 'FX' magazines in the UK - and look stunning!
The full and half page ads use the ArmourFX 'timber' effect panel launched at DX London in May. The panels are lightweight, can be cut on-site, and are simply fixed to the wall with BondPlast adhesive, but create this highly original deep grain timber effect.

Hospitality Design
We’re really excited to be at HD, in its new home at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. We'll be presenting our new custom-made decorative wall panel system, evolved from our renowned range of applied seamless wall finishes – ArmourFX.
Our team of specialist designers and artisan plasterers based in Las Vegas can work with clients to create integrated custom wall panel systems or design statement single artwork pieces. We can even include corporate logos or themed colours and finish techniques. Once finished, the panels are delivered direct from our single source workshop in custom-made foam packaging to ensure safe arrival on site. As all modular systems, the panels can be hung and removed as required, with no specialist installation necessary.
We invite clients to visit us at the show at booth #5066, where we are demonstrating the use and application of ArmourFX in a hospitality setting.

Written by Charlie Brooker the satirical three-part drama series will be aired next Spring. Byron commented "the set looks great and the panels really helped in bringing the look together." ArmourFX welcomed at Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites
Armourcoat’s new modular decorative panel system, ArmourFX, has been specified in America as a welcome wall backdrop as part of the ‘Your First Impression’ brand programme for Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites.
The Choice Hotels International brand programme takes the hotel guest's first impression to a new level, including a new signature front desk experience at each of the 2,000 franchised Comfort locations in the USA. The front desk will feature a redesigned welcome wall incorporating a reception desk with a stone panel with soft integrated lighting.
“The new welcome wall is a great addition to the Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites’ ‘Your First Impression’ programme,” says Christina Williamson, Senior Director & Head of Domestic Brand Management for Comfort Inn of Choice Hotels International. “It gives travellers a warm feeling of comfort and really sets the tone for their stay.”
Armourcoat, working closely with the design team at Choice Hotels International, developed a custom-made panel using specialist textured plaster techniques to emulate natural travertine stone. A raised brand logo and welcoming candle lighting complete the effect. As part of the ‘Your First Impression’ programme, the welcome walls will be introduced next year, working within the brand family's overarching strategy to refresh and redefine. The full enhancement programme is scheduled to be complete by 2015.
ArmourFX, evolved from Armourcoat’s renowned range of applied seamless plaster wall finishes, can be used to create highly original integrated custom wall panel systems, signage or design statement single artwork pieces. Visit www.armourfx.com.
